The invention relates to a connecting assembly and a building structure, the connecting assembly comprises a first sleeve, a second sleeve, a middle sleeve, a connecting sleeve and an inserting rod, and the connecting sleeve comprises a first connecting part and an elastic part which are connected with each other; the two ends of the inserting rod are fixedly connected to the first sleeve and the first connecting part correspondingly. The elastic part is located on the side, relatively close to the first sleeve, of the first connecting part. The middle sleeve extends into and is fixed in the second sleeve; the connecting sleeve can be inserted into the middle sleeve along with the inserting rod, and the elastic part can elastically contract into the middle sleeve and can elastically expand to abut against the end, relatively away from the first sleeve, of the middle sleeve. The elastic part comprises a plurality of elastic pieces, a gap is formed between every two adjacent elastic pieces, a force release groove is formed in the end, relatively close to the first connecting part, of each elastic piece, and the force release grooves communicate with the gaps. According to the connecting assembly provided by the invention, the elastic sheet can be deformed and contracted more easily to move into the second sleeve through the arrangement of the force release groove, so that the resistance when the inserting rod is inserted is effectively reduced, and the assembly efficiency is improved.
