The invention relates to the technical field of buildings, in particular to a modular rapid building which comprises at least two modular building units stacked up and down, and each modular building unit is arranged to be a container type building volume space comprising a plurality of supporting columns. The corresponding supporting columns between the upper and lower adjacent modular building units are connected through connecting mechanisms, and each connecting mechanism comprises an upper connecting piece arranged at the lower end of the corresponding supporting column and a lower connecting piece arranged at the upper end of the corresponding supporting column. The upper connecting piece comprises a first column body fixedly connected with the lower end of the supporting column, a center column in threaded connection with the lower end of the first column body, an ejector rod in sliding connection with the center column and a blocking rod fixedly connected with the ejector rod, the lower connecting piece comprises a second column body coaxial with the supporting column, and a vertical sliding way in sliding fit with the center column is arranged in the second column body. According to the scheme, the speed of connecting, disassembling and separating the multiple modular building units is greatly increased, the construction period is greatly shortened, and the construction efficiency of modular buildings is improved.
