The invention provides a bathroom tub and a preparation method, the bathroom tub comprises a tub body, the tub body is prepared by heating and thermoforming through a mold, the tub body comprises a bottom layer and a surface layer, the bottom layer and the surface layer are both prepared from one or more of an acrylic plate, a polymer plate and a polymer composite plate, and the bottom layer and the surface layer can be single-layer or multi-layer. The bathroom tub is manufactured through thermal forming, a reinforcing layer and a filling layer are not needed, the thinnest tub body can achieve the wall thickness of 10 mm, the hardness and impact resistance of the tub body are guaranteed while the thickness is reduced, the manufacturing method of the bathroom tub saves energy and is environmentally friendly, the period is greatly shortened, and the color and the light transmittance of the bathroom tub can be adjusted in a multiple mode.
