By arranging the walking robot on the steel wire rope, the walking robot can conveniently drive the data acquisition mechanism to move, so that the flow of the water surface in the river channel is monitored; the locking mechanism is arranged on the shell, and the whole walking robot can be locked after the walking robot moves to a designated area, so that continuous movement of the walking robot is prevented, and it is guaranteed that the data acquisition mechanism stably acquires water surface data; the system automatically monitors the river channel site, does not need to be attended by special personnel, and is high in automation level.
