The invention relates to an environment-friendly decorative wallboard with a self-purification function and a preparation technology thereof.The wallboard comprises a decorative layer, a reinforcing layer, catalytic degradation layers and a core layer, the number of the catalytic degradation layers is two, and the catalytic degradation layers are located on the two opposite side faces of the core layer in the thickness direction correspondingly; the two reinforcing layers are connected with the faces, away from the core layer, of the two catalytic degradation layers correspondingly, the decoration layer is connected with one reinforcing layer, and the other reinforcing layer is used for being attached to the wall face. The wallboard can catalytically degrade harmful gases generated by decomposing low-molecular organic matters (formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, acrolein and the like) in air or other indoor materials, so that the indoor air quality is improved, various problems of integrated wallboards in the current market are effectively solved, particularly, the tragedy of human leukemia caused by exposure of indoor formaldehyde over-standard in recent years is effectively solved, and the wallboard has a wide application prospect.
