The invention provides a lateral precast yard girder erection construction method which comprises the following specific steps: step 1, erecting a gantry crane rail bracket, erecting a first hole precast beam by using a gantry crane, and reinforcing and connecting the erected precast beams; secondly, a transverse bridge direction walking track is laid on the top face of the erected precast beam, and a beam stopping platform is erected in the large mileage direction; thirdly, a bridge girder erection machine is assembled on the top face of the erected precast beam, a gantry crane rail support on the small mileage side is dismantled, and hole passing operation is conducted after the bridge girder erection machine is assembled; first holes of the precast beams are erected through a gantry crane, the other precast beams are erected through a bridge erecting machine, and the erecting methods of all the holes are basically the same. In the erecting process of the precast beam, the bridge-direction traveling rails of the beam transporting flatcars on the bridge floor synchronously follow up, the reversing mode of the beam transporting flatcars is easy to operate, reversing is rapid and convenient, and the construction time is effectively saved.
