The invention discloses a lifting and transverse moving control method for a mechanical garage, and relates to the technical field of vehicle parking and taking of lifting and transverse moving garages, and the parking or vehicle taking requirements of a driver are judged by recognizing NFC card information through a garage background; when a parking demand is met, traversing all idle parking spaces in a garage after a vehicle is parked, calculating the operation times required by each parking space through a parking space rotation method and the operation times required by each parking space through a middle insertion method, and taking the minimum value of the two methods as the optimal moving mode of the parking space; selecting the optimal moving mode from all the idle parking spaces to move to the bottom layer with the minimum operation frequency; similarly, when the requirement is to pick up the vehicle, calculating an optimal moving mode required by the space number of the vehicle to be picked up, and moving the vehicle to be picked up to a bottom layer according to the optimal moving mode; the problem of parking and picking up the vehicles with the minimum number of operation times in the lifting and transverse moving garage is solved.
