The invention relates to the technical field of motor sweepers, and particularly discloses an energy system for a motor sweeper and the motor sweeper thereof.The energy system comprises a sweeping module, a fuel preparation module and a fuel cell module; wherein the sweeping module comprises a sweeping and collecting device and a screening device, the screening device is used for screening and separating the garbage into inorganic garbage and organic garbage, and the organic garbage is conveyed to the fuel preparation module; the fuel preparation module is used for decomposing the organic garbage to form a fuel source and conveying the fuel source to the fuel cell module, so that the fuel cell module operates to generate electricity, and electric power generated by the fuel cell module serves as a power source for operation of the sweeper. The power system of the motor sweeper is energy-saving and environment-friendly, and the reciprocating frequency of the motor sweeper and the garbage station can be reduced, so that the useless energy consumption rate of the motor sweeper is reduced.
