The invention relates to the technical field of civil engineering stone laying, in particular to a civil engineering stone laying device which comprises a vehicle body, a fixing mechanism, a width adjusting mechanism, a height adjusting mechanism and a laying plate. The fixing mechanism is fixedly arranged at the rear end of the vehicle body; the width adjusting mechanism is arranged on the fixing mechanism; the pair of laying plates is coaxially hinged to the working end of the width adjusting mechanism, and the two laying plates can be arranged at the working end of the width adjusting mechanism in an unfolded or folded mode. The height adjusting mechanism comprises two threaded telescopic rods which are arranged on the two laying plates correspondingly and used for adjusting the height of the laying plates, and a synchronous belt driving mechanism used for driving the two threaded telescopic rods to work at the same time. According to different road surface widths, automatic paving can be achieved, the stone paving height can be automatically adjusted, and the road construction quality is improved.
