The comb-tooth-shaped steel damper comprises a steel damping unit, and the longitudinal section of the steel damping unit is of a left-right symmetrical structure and a closed-loop structure; a plurality of first strip-shaped holes are formed in the two longitudinal ends of the steel damping unit respectively and are formed in the length direction of the steel damping unit, and all the first strip-shaped holes in each end are distributed at intervals in the transverse direction of the steel damping unit. According to the comb-tooth-shaped steel damper, comb-tooth-shaped structures are formed at the two ends through the first strip-shaped holes, the steel damping units can achieve longitudinal energy dissipation in the bending direction of the steel damping units and can also conduct torsional deformation along the first strip-shaped holes between the comb teeth in the transverse direction and generate displacement, earthquake energy is effectively dissipated, and the comb-tooth-shaped steel damper can independently dissipate the earthquake energy in the transverse direction and the longitudinal direction; the comb-tooth-shaped steel damper is simple in structure, free of mutual interference, small in mechanical property difference and compact in structure, longitudinal and transverse energy consumption can be achieved only by arranging a group of comb-tooth-shaped steel dampers, installation space is greatly saved, construction cost is reduced, and comprehensive cost can be saved by more than 30%.
