Laminated stirrup and method for improving ductility of frame column
The invention discloses a laminated stirrup and method for improving the ductility of a frame column. An additional closed stirrup is added on the adjacent side of the first closed stirrup of the dense area stirrups of the frame column in parallel; the hook position of the additional closed stirrup and the hook position of the first closed stirrup are arranged diagonally; the two stirrups are bound and overlapped together to form an overlapped stirrup structure; the additional closed stirrup is only required to be placed close to the first stirrup at the end part of the frame column to form the overlapped stirrup, and the placement direction of the additional closed stirrup enables the hooks of the two stirrups to be positioned at opposite positions. The construction process is simple and convenient. After the first stirrup at the end part of the frame column is changed into the overlapped stirrup, the overlapped stirrup does not form a weak position at the hook position like a single stirrup. Under the action of load, the hook of the first overlapped stirrup with the largest stress at the end of the frame column is not prone to disengagement, the transverse restraining effect of the closed stirrups on the longitudinal bars and the concrete is fully exerted, and the ductility and the anti-seismic property of the frame column are improved.
