The invention discloses a soft soil quality investigation device which comprises two transparent half cylinders which are detachably combined to form a complete cylinder, and further comprises a plurality of openings formed in the half cylinders; a plurality of left fans are fixedly arranged on the half cylinder on the left side; a plurality of right fans are fixedly arranged on the half cylinder on the right side; the air outlet ends of the left fan and the right fan are both provided with the air guide pipes, and an electric heating wire is fixedly arranged in the air guide pipe on the side where the left fan is located; and the cooling and heating mechanism is arranged below the right fan. According to the device, after the cylinder composed of the two half cylinders is inserted into the ground, soft soil is dried through the draught fan, then water generated after drying is collected, a soil core in the cylinder is more easily taken out and kept complete, after the soil core is taken out, the water obtained after drying is heated and evaporated, the soil is wetted, the original state of the soil is restored, and the soil core is prevented from being damaged. And the underground soil texture condition can be conveniently judged.
