The invention discloses a vehicle door lock with anti-falling and anti-blocking functions. The vehicle door lock comprises a carrier, a lock plate, a first unlocking piece, a second unlocking piece and a relay piece, wherein the lock plate, the first unlocking piece, the second unlocking piece and the relay piece are rotationally connected to the carrier. The lock plate is provided with a stop block and a first blocked part; the first unlocking piece is provided with a driven part, a convex column and a first blocking part which is blocked at the first blocked part; the second unlocking piece is provided with a convex extending arm, a second blocked part and a second blocking part for blocking the convex column; the relay is provided with a driving part, a top part and a third blocked part. When the relay piece is rotated, the top part jacks up the second unlocking piece to release the convex column, the first blocking part leaves the first blocked part to release the lock plate, the check block is blocked at the second blocked part, and the convex extension arm blocks the third blocked part. Therefore, the anti-disengaging effect of preventing the first blocking part from slipping off or disengaging from the first blocked part and the anti-blocking effect of preventing the first unlocking piece from resetting to block rotation of the lock plate can be achieved.
