The invention discloses a pilot control valve group and an ultra-large mining excavator. The pilot control valve group comprises a preheating unit and a working unit which are independently arranged; the preheating unit comprises a first primary pilot valve and a damper which are communicated with each other, and hydraulic oil enters the damper after passing through the first primary pilot valve and flows into an oil return tank after passing through the damper; the working unit comprises a second first-stage pilot valve and a second-stage main valve which are communicated with each other, and the hydraulic oil enters the second-stage main valve after passing through the second first-stage pilot valve, so that a second-stage valve element in the second-stage main valve is reversed, pilot pressure oil is output to a plurality of main valve elements, and all the main valve elements are reversed and execute corresponding actions. Under the same flow specification, the pilot control valve set is compact in appearance, small in occupied space and few in used piping, and compared with a pilot control valve set with the same function, the number of electric proportional pressure reducing valves is reduced, cost and control difficulty are lowered, and use of vehicle-mounted controller ports is reduced.
