The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a to-be-processed image; determining a preset detection area from the to-be-processed image; acquiring a dark channel value of each pixel in the preset detection area; determining the pixels of which the dark channel values are greater than a set threshold value as target pixels; according to the ratio of the number of the target pixels to the total number of the pixels in the preset detection area, the working state of the spraying equipment is determined, and the spraying equipment is controlled according to the working state of the spraying equipment. Therefore, compared with a deep learning identification mode, the scheme provided by the invention can realize low-cost spraying equipment detection control, and is high in robustness and easy to deploy.
