The invention discloses a shallow foundation structure suitable for a soft soil foundation, which comprises a base body, and the base body is pre-buried in soft soil and is used for bearing the load of a structure; the base body is configured in the mode that the self weight of the base body is matched with a preset value, and the preset value is the difference value between the weight of soft soil in the space occupied by the base body and the load of the structure. Due to the fact that the base body is embedded in the soft soil, the base body is equal to the excavated soft soil in volume, on the basis, the sum of the base body and the base top dead load borne by the base body is equal to the weight of the removed soft soil, the stress of the bottom face of the shallow foundation structure is equal to that of the original-state soft soil, and the soft soil does not need to build a new balance state again. Therefore, the uncertainty in the process of rebuilding the balance of the soft soil is avoided; meanwhile, the key point of the embodiment of the invention is to calculate and design the weight and the volume of the base body, and only the foundation pit needs to be excavated and the base body needs to be buried during construction, so that the method has the characteristics of short construction period and low engineering cost.
