The invention discloses a concrete combination column with a built-in high-strength concrete core column and a construction method of the concrete combination column. The concrete combination column comprises a round steel pipe, high-strength concrete, high-damping concrete, high-strength stirrups and longitudinal bars. The circular steel pipe is of an internal hollow structure, and the high-strength concrete is poured into the circular steel pipe. Longitudinal bars are arranged on the periphery of the outer side of the round steel pipe, the outer sides of the longitudinal bars are bundled through high-strength stirrups, and the round steel pipe is filled with high-damping concrete, so that the round steel pipe, the high-strength stirrups and the longitudinal bars are completely wrapped by the high-damping concrete. The high-strength concrete core column is compounded in the common concrete column, the high-strength stirrups are used for restraining the core area concrete, and the periphery of the high-strength stirrups is filled with the high-damping concrete. Therefore, the reinforced concrete column has better anti-seismic performance, higher bearing capacity and better stability.
