The invention provides a ferrite material, a preparation method and a magnetic core. The ferrite material comprises a main component and an additive, the main components comprise the following components in percentage by weight: 58.5 wt% to 66.5 wt% of Fe2O3, 7.5 wt% to 18.5 wt% of NiO, 10.0 wt% to 21.0 wt% of ZnO and 3.0 wt% to 7.0 wt% of CuO; the additive is prepared from the following components in percentage by weight: 0.2 wt% to 1.0 wt% of Bi2O3, 0.05 wt% to 0.25 wt% of SnO2, 0.05 wt% to 0.15 wt% of Co2O3 and 0.1 wt% to 0.5 wt% of glass powder, and the glass powder at least comprises SiO2, B2O3 and Al2O3. The mechanical property and the electromagnetic property of the ferrite material can be improved, and the structural strength of a ferrite product can be improved.
