The invention provides a method for grooving a cutter-suction dredger while the tide in a shallow water area, which is characterized in that the method generally adopts the thinking of grooving the cutter-suction dredger at a high tide level, turning the dredger and keeping the dredger horizontally in a low-tide level groove, the cutter-suction dredger constantly adjusts the posture of the dredger in a groove, and the dredger is switched between a construction state and a tide waiting state; according to the method, a mathematical model is established according to cutter suction dredger body scale parameters, construction parameters, water depth and tide level data, the tide level meeting the construction conditions is screened, the tidewhile water level, the entering point time point, the grooving width and the turning time point are calculated, and the method can be directly used for guiding the cutter suction dredger to conduct tidewhile grooving in the shallow water area. By means of the method, the excavation work amount and the waste volume can be reduced, the construction cost is reduced, the grooving efficiency is improved, and the construction period is shortened.
