An assembly type weather-proof steel plate curtain wall system without a transverse keel comprises a vertical keel, a main adapting piece and a weather-proof steel plate unit, the weather-proof steel plate unit is indirectly fixed to the vertical keel through the main adapting piece, and a weather-proof steel plate of the weather-proof steel plate unit is provided with a folded edge. The main adapter is installed on the vertical keel through a bolt and a nut. And the weather-proof steel plate unit is mounted on the main adapter. The excellent material characteristics of steel are utilized, the installation mode that four edges of a traditional weather-proof steel plate curtain wall are fixed is eliminated, the folded edges of the weather-proof steel plate are used for bearing horizontal loads, and transverse keels of a traditional similar system are omitted; the number of connecting points of the weather-proof steel plate is simplified to four. The installation difficulty is greatly simplified, the installation and machining procedures are reduced, and the installation precision is improved; the gasket between the weather-proof steel plate and the auxiliary adapter and the gasket between the main adapter and the stand column play a good role in shock absorption and heat insulation. And the method has good safety, economical efficiency and environment-friendly performance on the whole.
