The invention discloses a function encryption safety lock and a control method thereof. The function encryption safety lock comprises a lock body, a spring bolt seat, a spring bolt, a keyboard and a display screen. A controller, a battery and a buzzer are arranged in the lock body; the motor is used for driving the spring bolt to linearly reciprocate; a mathematical function for encryption and a domain of definition thereof are arranged in the controller; and the controller is used for randomly generating an independent variable, displaying the independent variable on the display screen, comparing a password input by the keyboard with the dependent variable, and controlling the rotation of the motor according to a comparison result. In actual use, the independent variables generated every time are different, and the passwords generated every time the lock is unlocked are also different; that is, if others peep the password input by the user on the keyboard, unlocking cannot be completed next time. Even if the value of the independent variable displayed on the display terminal and the password input by the keyboard are peeped, the function for encryption cannot be deduced reversely.
