The invention discloses a street lamp installation lifter and a using method thereof.The street lamp installation lifter comprises a positioning frame, the positioning frame comprises a positioning bottom frame and a positioning support, one end of the positioning bottom frame is fixedly connected with a street lamp pre-buried frame, and the positioning support is vertically arranged at the end, close to the street lamp pre-buried frame, of the positioning bottom frame; the mounting frame is hinged to the positioning bracket; one end of the telescopic rod is hinged to the positioning bottom frame, and the other end is hinged to the mounting frame; and the limiting sleeve is arranged on the fixing frame. The problems of large manual positioning deviation and long time consumption during street lamp installation can be solved.
