The invention relates to a segmental prefabricated single-box single-chamber variable-height prestressed concrete box girder and a construction method thereof. According to the scheme, the construction method comprises the steps that 1, embedded parts are installed; 2, a template of the zero block is installed; 3, a zero block is poured; 4, a support of the first block is installed; 5, mounting a bridge erecting machine; 6, the first block is in place; step 7, pouring a wet joint; and 8, other prefabricated sections are installed, specifically, except for the zero block and the first block, the remaining prefabricated sections are installed in the mode of simultaneous suspension and segmented connection, and construction is completed. According to the construction method, the construction mode of the zero block formwork system is innovated, and erection of a support is avoided; the first block is placed and installed through the supporting platform, and the installation precision and efficiency of the first block are improved; and the other prefabricated sections are suspended at the same time and connected at the same time, so that the assembly efficiency is improved.
