The invention relates to the field of environmental protection equipment, in particular to a garbage self-unloading road surface sweeping system which comprises a base station, a road surface sweeping vehicle and a garbage collecting box. The road sweeper is provided with a guide rail. A first matching rib and a second matching rib are arranged on the side wall of the garbage collecting box, and an inlet of the garbage collecting box is formed between the first matching rib and the second matching rib. The base station is provided with a parking space, a first conveying mechanism, a first pushing mechanism and a second conveying mechanism. The parking space is provided with a wheel holding mechanism. The first conveying mechanism and the second conveying mechanism are arranged on the two sides of the parking space correspondingly and arranged in the width direction of the parking space. The first pushing mechanism is arranged close to the first conveying mechanism.
