The invention relates to a high-damping rubber tuned mass damper capable of sliding bidirectionally. The high-damping rubber tuned mass damper comprises a transverse bottom plate, a transverse elastic body, a transverse sliding rail, a longitudinal bottom plate, a longitudinal elastic body, a longitudinal sliding rail, a mass block and a high-damping rubber support. The mass block can freely slide on the longitudinal sliding rail and is connected with the longitudinal bottom plate through the longitudinal elastic body to jointly form a longitudinal movement subsystem. The longitudinal movement subsystem can freely slide on the transverse sliding rail and is connected with the transverse bottom plate through a transverse elastic body. And the upper part of the mass block is fixed with an external to-be-damped structure through a high-damping rubber support. Compared with the prior art, the tuned mass damper can realize bidirectional sliding, realizes bidirectional energy consumption through shear deformation of the high-damping rubber, can be mounted in a limited space, and has the advantages of simple and practical structure and low cost.
