A reinforcing tool suitable for temporary overhanging of a steel structure can temporarily fix structural steel overhung on the steel structure through tensioning of a rope, the structural steel is prevented from generating large-amplitude perturbing when the steel structure ascends and descends, the position of the structural steel can be finely adjusted by pulling or loosening an inhaul cable as long as the steel structure ascends and descends to an approximate position, and the steel structure can be conveniently fixed. The structure steel overhung on the steel structure is tensioned through the inhaul cable, the position of the structure steel can be adjusted in the mode that the inhaul cable is loosened or tensioned through the chain block, and therefore the structure steel can be aligned with an embedded part on a floor or connecting parts on other steel structures conveniently; and in addition, various different types of structural steel can be clamped through the opposite-pull screw rod, the adaptability is wide, and the application range is widened.
