Building facade system and method of forming building facade
A building facade system includes a frame supporting building facade panels, integral vertical shear blade anchors, vertical mullions, and angled anchoring members. An integral vertical shear blade anchor has a body portion and a flange extending horizontally from the body portion. The flange has a top surface and a bottom surface, the bottom surface having sawteeth. The vertical mullions are secured to the vertical shear blade anchors by shear connectors. A shear connection between the vertical mullion and the vertical shear blade anchor is formed by a fastener extending through the body portion and the side portion of the vertical mullion. The corner member has a first flange and a second flange, each flange having a proximal end and an opposite distal end coupled together. The second flange has a top surface with upwardly protruding serrations. The upwardly protruding serrations are configured for engagement with downwardly protruding serrations of a vertical shear blade anchor.
