The invention discloses a high-strength flexible graphite flake and a preparation method thereof. The method comprises the following steps: firstly preparing expanded graphite, blending the expanded graphite with trace high-temperature-resistant fibers, then spraying with a surfactant solution, and then compressing. According to the method, the expanded graphite is kept in a worm shape through proper mixing conditions during blending, and the distance between adjacent graphite microchips is increased under the condition that the graphite microchips in the worm are not stripped; according to the method, the interaction force between the graphite microchips is reduced through the surfactant, so that the graphite microchips of different graphite worms can be mutually intercalated to a certain extent, and the interaction surface area of the graphite microchips is increased. According to the method adopted by the invention, the flexible graphite keeps excellent creep resistance, and meanwhile, the mechanical property is greatly improved, so that the flexible graphite is not easy to damage when being used as a high-temperature sealing material, and the service life is prolonged.
本发明公开一种高强度柔性石墨片及其制备方法。本发明方法先制备得到膨胀石墨,采用膨胀石墨与微量的耐高温纤维进行共混,再用表面活性剂溶液喷涂,然后进行压缩。本方法在共混时通过合适的混合条件,使膨胀石墨维持蠕虫形状,并在蠕虫中石墨微片未被剥离的情况下使相邻的石墨微片间距增大;本方法通过表面活性剂使石墨微片间减小相互作用力,使不同石墨蠕虫的石墨微片可以发生一定程度的相互插层,提高石墨微片相互作用的表面积。本发明所采用的方法,使柔性石墨保持了优良的抗蠕变性,同时力学性能大幅提高,使其在作为高温密封材料的使用中不易损伤,使用寿命增加。
