Preferably, the building material is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 20 parts of kaolin, 50 parts of china clay, 22 parts of fly ash, 20 parts of floating beads, 13 parts of latex, 5 parts of aerogel, 15 parts of modified fibers and 45 parts of water. By adopting the porcelain clay, the fly ash, the floating beads, the latex, the modified fibers and the water as raw materials, the prepared fireproof plate mute air duct has good high temperature resistance, meanwhile, the weight in unit area is light, the load on a hanging bracket can be reduced, and the fireproof plate mute air duct has small micropore performance, so that the air duct plate has certain sound absorption and noise reduction effects.
