The invention provides a steel mill solid waste treatment method, and relates to the technical field of waste treatment, and the method comprises the following steps: step 1, solid waste converter mud and ash are recovered in a centralized manner, and are respectively stored in a converter mud warehouse and an ash warehouse; 2, purchasing calcium quicklime powder and storing the calcium quicklime powder in a calcium oxide powder bin; 3, calcium quicklime powder is added into the converter mud according to the proportion, uniform stirring is conducted, primary digestion is conducted, and a primary digestion material is obtained; 4, mixing the converter mud subjected to primary digestion with ash; according to the method, calcium quicklime powder is added into converter mud for primary digestion, the converter mud is mixed with ash for secondary digestion, and then a binder and a heat generating agent are added, so that harmful elements in solid waste are neutralized by using the calcium quicklime powder, water is evaporated by using two-time digestion, water is evaporated by using the heat generating agent, and the strength is improved by using the binder; and the cold pressing block can be provided for a steelmaking converter and an ironmaking blast furnace to be used, and the quality of tapping and molten iron is guaranteed.
