The invention discloses a bridge hinged support installation method. The method comprises the following steps that S1, before a steel box girder is installed, a hinged support lower steel plate is in butt joint with a steel plate bolt embedded in the top face of a bridge abutment, and bolts are adopted for temporary fixing; s2, when the steel box girder is installed, the steel box girder is firstly placed in place, measured and adjusted in place, and then the steel box girder and the steel plate on the hinged support are connected and fixed in a spot welding mode; s3, the lower steel plate temporary fixing bolts are dismantled, the steel box girder communicating hinged support is lifted to the top face of a bridge abutment back wall, and therefore a construction space of a steel box girder bottom plate and a steel plate connecting weld joint on the hinged support is formed; s4, the steel box girder and the hinged support upper steel plate of the hinged support are subjected to full-length welding, and welding construction is completed; and S5, finally, the steel box girder and the hinged support integrally fall in place, a lower steel plate connecting bolt is screwed down, and installation is completed. The welding construction space is expanded, the operation condition is improved, the construction is efficient, and the construction safety is improved; the problem that efficient and safe construction cannot be achieved due to the limited space of the steel box girder and the hinged support is solved.
