The invention relates to a tubular steel plate connecting piece, in particular to a middle drum type tubular steel plate connecting piece and a combined structure thereof. Comprising a cylindrical body (1), the cylindrical body (1) comprises a cylindrical body upper section (12), a cylindrical body middle section (11) and a cylindrical body lower section (13), and the cross section area of the cylindrical body middle section (11) is larger than that of the cylindrical body upper section (12); and the cross section area of the columnar body middle section (11) is larger than that of the columnar body lower section (13). Through the middle drum type structure, the middle of the cylindrical body protrudes outwards, when the cylindrical body is pressed, the cylindrical body is not prone to being folded inwards, and when the cylindrical body is connected with a top plate and a bottom plate, the structure is more stable and reliable.
