The invention relates to a camera device for a road traffic stone and the road traffic stone with the camera device. The camera device comprises an electric cabinet unit, an upper cover unit and a camera module, the electric cabinet unit comprises a cavity defining a containing chamber and a drainage structure connected with the top end of the cavity, the drainage structure is provided with a peripheral wall extending upwards, the peripheral wall is provided with two side wall parts oppositely arranged in the transverse direction and a rear wall part connected between the side wall parts, and the cavity is provided with a cavity front wall opposite to the rear wall part. The cavity front wall is provided with a side inclined wall part extending backwards in an inclined mode, a camera shooting opening hole is formed in the side inclined wall part, and the included angle between the center line of the camera shooting opening hole and the transverse direction is smaller than 90 degrees. The upper cover unit is detachably arranged on the electric cabinet unit and seals the containing chamber. The camera module is arranged in the containing chamber and provided with a lens facing the camera hole. Therefore, pedestrians or vehicles can be prevented from accidentally colliding with the camera device, and rainwater can be quickly drained and prevented from influencing the camera effect of the camera module when it rains.
