Colorless luminous solar concentrator
A colorless luminescent solar concentrator (LSC) comprising:-a first sheet comprising a matrix of transparent material and at least one first photoluminescent organic compound having an absorption range of 400 nm to 550 nm, preferably 420 nm to 500 nm, and at least one second photoluminescent organic compound having an absorption range of 500 nm to 650 nm, preferably 420 nm to 500 nm, and-a second sheet comprising a matrix of transparent material and at least one second photoluminescent organic compound having an absorption range of 400 nm to 550 nm, preferably 420 nm to 500 nm; the first photoluminescent organic compound has an absorption range of 420 nm to 650 nm, preferably 480 nm to 600 nm, and an emission range of 580 nm to 750 nm, preferably 600 nm to 700 nm, and the second photoluminescent organic compound has an absorption range of 420 nm to 650 nm, preferably 480 nm to 600 nm, and an emission range of 580 nm to 750 nm, preferably 600 nm to 700 nm; -a second sheet comprising a transparent material matrix and at least one third organic compound, optionally photoluminescent, said third organic compound having an absorption range of 550 nm to 750 nm, preferably 570 nm to 700 nm, and an emission range of 700 nm to 900 nm, preferably 740 nm to 850 nm. The colorless luminescent solar concentrator (LSC) can be advantageously used in various applications requiring power generation by utilizing light energy, in particular solar radiation energy, such as: Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) systems; a photovoltaic window; a greenhouse; a photobioreactor; an acoustic barrier; illumination is performed; performing design; advertising; and automobile industry. In addition, the colorless luminescent solar concentrator (LSC) is particularly suitable for applications in double glazing.
