The invention provides an intelligent traffic conical barrel which comprises a conical barrel, and at least a first mounting plate and a second mounting plate are arranged in the conical barrel. The first mounting plate is fixedly arranged in the conical barrel, and the upper end of the first mounting plate is provided with a power module, a GPS positioning module, a communication module and an embedded controller; at least two driving wheels and a universal wheel are arranged at the bottom of the second mounting plate, the diameter of the second mounting plate is smaller than that of the bottom of the conical barrel, two gear motors and a servo motor are arranged at the upper end of the second mounting plate, the gear motors are correspondingly connected with the driving wheels, and the output end of the servo motor is fixedly connected with the first mounting plate; the power module, the GPS positioning module and the communication module are electrically connected with the embedded controller, and the embedded controller is electrically connected with the gear motor and the servo motor and controls the conical barrel to move and ascend and descend. According to the method, the efficiency of traditional arrangement is improved, meanwhile, the personal safety of operators is completely guaranteed, and the method has very high application and popularization value.
