A siphon valve assembly, the assembly comprising: a tubular core; a head coupled to the top of the core and surrounding the top of the core; and a fluid spray starter, the fluid spray starter being coupled to the head; wherein a lower end of the head defines a siphon valve inlet, a lower end of the tubular core defines a siphon valve outlet, an upper end of the tubular core includes a weir, and the shower initiator is configured to discharge a fluid into the core to cause a siphon flow surrounding the fluid to pass through the siphon valve inlet, across the weir, and the water flows out of the siphon valve outlet.
