The invention discloses an automatic brick plastering machine and a plastering method thereof. The plastering machine comprises a skip car, a storage cavity, a horizontal plastering mechanism, a vertical plastering mechanism and a guide mechanism. The horizontal plastering mechanism comprises a plastering baffle and a horizontal plastering driving mechanism; a plastering groove is formed in the space between the two plastering baffles, and a plurality of communicating grooves used for communicating the storage cavity with the plastering groove are formed in the bottom of the skip car. The vertical plastering mechanism comprises a plastering plate, a material taking hopper, a vertical plastering driving mechanism and a material taking driving mechanism; the material taking driving mechanism is used for driving the material taking hopper to convey the slurry in the storage cavity to the position between the slurry smearing plate and the side face of the brick. And the vertical grouting driving mechanism is used for driving the grouting plate to move upwards so as to smear the slurry on the side surfaces of the bricks. The grouting machine can automatically conduct grouting on the upper surfaces of the bricks and can also conduct grouting on the side faces of the bricks, the automation degree is high, the working efficiency of grouting can be greatly improved, and the labor intensity of workers is reduced.
