A cabin body expansion mechanism of a side wall translation square cabin comprises a frame body, an upper turning plate, a lower turning plate, a side wall side plate and a pair of side wall end plate assemblies. The frame body is provided with a pair of longitudinal frame beams, a top end transverse frame beam and a bottom end transverse frame beam. The upper turning plate is connected to the top end transverse frame beam, the lower turning plate is connected to the bottom end transverse frame beam, and the upper turning plate and the lower turning plate can be folded to be in a vertical state or unfolded outwards to be in a horizontal state. The side wall side plate is vertically arranged, the two side wall end plate assemblies are hinged to the left end and the right end of the side wall side plate, each side wall end plate assembly comprises at least two movable end plates, the movable end plate close to the side wall side plate is hinged to the lateral edge of the side wall side plate, and the movable end plate close to the frame body is hinged to the longitudinal frame beam. The foldable square cabin has the advantages that the structure is simple and compact, the internal space of the square cabin body can be expanded, various activity requirements can be met, the functionality of the square cabin is improved, overall folding is convenient, the safety during work and transportation is ensured, and the foldable square cabin is suitable for various different use scenes; and the assembling and mounting difficulty is reduced.
