The invention discloses a gravity type wharf fixed crane foundation structure and a construction method thereof, and the crane foundation structure comprises a small caisson group, a riprap foundation bed, a prefabricated square block, a breast wall and a top concrete layer; the small caisson group is installed on the riprap foundation bed, prefabricated square blocks are arranged on the riprap foundation bed on the two sides of the small caisson group, breast walls are arranged on the prefabricated square blocks, and a top concrete layer is poured on the top of the small caisson group; the small caisson group comprises a plurality of small caissons, and the plurality of small caissons are connected through a poured top concrete layer; a bottom concrete layer is arranged in the small caisson, embedded steel bars are arranged in the bottom concrete layer, and the bottom concrete layer is connected with the top concrete layer through the embedded steel bars. By means of the design, the problem that in the construction process of a traditional gravity type square wharf fixed crane foundation, a formwork deforms or shifts when concrete is poured, and consequently the joint between the formwork and a riprap foundation bed is not tight, and slurry leakage is caused is solved.
