The invention relates to the technical field of constructional engineering, and particularly discloses a formwork supporting system of a side slope position cantilever structure and a using method thereof.The formwork supporting system is installed in a fat groove formed between the outer side of a basement and a side slope and used for supporting the bottom of the cantilever structure; comprising a first supporting assembly installed on the top face of a foundation, a second supporting assembly installed on the slope, and a scaffold installed on the first supporting assembly and the second supporting assembly and hinged to the first supporting assembly and the second supporting assembly. According to the cantilever structure and the using method of the cantilever structure, transmission of loads of the cantilever structure is achieved through the foundation and the slope of the side slope, part of the loads can be evenly transmitted to the side slope through the arrangement of the steel plates in the transmission process, the situation that the loads are transmitted in a concentrated mode is avoided, and then the situation that individual parts of a scaffold deform greatly is avoided; the uniform deformation of the scaffold can be effectively ensured through uniform transfer of the load.
