The invention relates to a gap embedding device with an elastic liquid storage bag and low-melting-point metal plates. The gap embedding device mainly comprises a first side plate, a second side plate, the elastic liquid storage bag, a liquid return structure, a first low-melting-point metal plate, a first heating mechanism, a second low-melting-point metal plate and a second heating mechanism. The elastic liquid storage bag has certain elasticity and strength and can generate certain restoring force after being pressed or pulled. When any side of the elastic liquid storage bag is pressed, the compression amplitude of the pressed position is large, a large amount of magnetorheological fluid can be squeezed out, the squeezed magnetorheological fluid flows into the backflow structure through the communication structure, the flow speed is controlled through the magnetic field area, and the damping effect is achieved. According to the gap embedding and plugging device, the opening degree of the gap embedding and plugging device can be automatically adjusted along with opening and closing of the gap, the gap embedding and plugging device can be prevented from slipping, then beam-column joints are prevented from being disengaged by means of damping force of the gap embedding and plugging device, and deformed joints can be driven to reset.
