The invention belongs to the technical field of ecological restoration, and particularly relates to a slope protection method with combination of indigenous artemisia plants and fiber blankets. The slope protection method comprises the following steps: (1) applying humus soil to the side slope; (2) sowing the small infructescence containing the seeds by adopting a strip-shaped sowing method; (3) covering the seeds with fine soil with the thickness of 0.5-1.5 cm after the seeds are sown; (4) covering with a fiber blanket; and (5) within 2 months after sowing, watering according to the rainfall, so that the volumetric water content of the soil is kept at 10-18%. According to the method, the road slope vegetation coverage can be improved to 87%, the slope vegetation productivity can reach 90%, and water and soil loss can be reduced by more than 50%.
