The invention provides a drainage assembly which comprises a power source, a motor and a water pumping component, and the water pumping component further comprises a water control cover, an impeller and a flow channel. The flow channel is a straight pipe water flow channel. The water control cover is a rotatable cover provided with a notch. The impeller is arranged in the water control cover and connected with the motor through the transmission shaft. The water control cover is further provided with a groove and a limiting column. The groove is formed in the notch of the water control cover and is bent inwards. The limiting column is arranged on the top of the water control cover. The invention further provides a swimming pool robot which comprises a body, and the drainage assembly is arranged in the body. Outlets in the two ends of the runner are formed in the outer surface of the body.
