The invention discloses an intelligent lock for electric energy metering based on software encryption and a monitoring method of the intelligent lock. The intelligent lock for electric energy metering comprises a processing and operation circuit which is used for controlling a locking device to act according to data signals received by ports and sensors and generating data signals sent to external equipment through operation; the communication interaction port is a wired port for accessing an external sensing device state signal; the state quantity input port is a wired port for accessing an external sensing device state signal; the power supply input port is a port for accessing an external direct current power supply; the locking device is an electric driving device for executing an unlocking control instruction and a driven locking structure component; the locking state sensor is a sensor for monitoring whether the locking structural component is in an unlocking state or a locking state; and the door sensor is a sensor for monitoring the opening and closing states of the metering box or the cabinet door.
