A combination anchor and fastener assembly for anchoring an object to a support structure includes an anchor floor having a top surface and a bottom surface, an elongate post having an upper end and a lower end; wherein the upper end of the column is connected to the anchor floor such that the column is suspended from the bottom surface. An at least partially threaded blind bore extends from the top surface of the anchor floor into the post and has an open top end in the top surface of the anchor floor and a closed bottom end in the post. The bottom surface of the anchor floor is configured to allow at least a portion of the support structure to abut it and be positioned substantially flush therewith, except for an area of the bottom surface covered by a column.
