The invention discloses a large-section independent column formwork supporting structure and a construction method thereof.The large-section independent column formwork supporting structure comprises a column formwork, a plurality of hoop structures hooped on the periphery of the outer side of the column formwork and a supporting structure supported on the periphery of the column formwork, and each face of the column formwork comprises a plurality of rectangular aluminum alloy formworks which are mutually spliced and fixed; the hoop structure comprises reinforcing back ridges arranged on outer side formworks of the column formworks and cable-stayed bolts arranged between the reinforcing back ridges on the plate faces of the adjacent column formworks, each reinforcing back ridge comprises two supporting rods arranged in parallel, a reinforcing rod parallel to the supporting rods and a plurality of connecting rod pieces arranged between the supporting rods and the reinforcing rod, and the connecting rod pieces are connected with the supporting rods and the reinforcing rod. The cross section of the two supporting rods and the cross section of the reinforcing rod are of a delta-shaped structure, sliding connecting blocks are arranged at the two ends of each supporting rod, inclined connecting holes are formed in the middles of the sliding connecting blocks, and the reinforcing back ridges on the plate faces of the adjacent column formworks are connected and fixed in the mode that cable-stayed bolts penetrate through the two adjacent sliding connecting blocks on the adjacent reinforcing back ridges at the same time.
