Method for producing molded article by sintering
The invention relates to a method for producing a molded article by sintering, comprising the following steps: a. Providing a starting material comprising a metal and/or ceramic powder, b. Molding the starting material, if the starting material also contains a binder material, or by introducing the binder material into a powder bed formed from the starting material, thereby forming a green part from the starting material, c, the green part is subjected to chemical degumming and/or solvent-based degumming to obtain a brown part, d, the brown part obtained in step c is subjected to thermal degumming, and e, the brown part is compacted into a molded part by sintering. In this process, after step c and before step d, the brown article is treated with a softener which can soften the binder material still present in the brown article. Before step d, after the treatment with the softener, the static pressure process is carried out by applying a medium under elevated pressure. As a result, an increase in the material density after the sintering step is achieved.
