Mullite whisker reinforced mullite composite material and preparation method thereof
The invention aims to further improve the performance of a mullite refractory material, and provides a mullite whisker reinforced mullite composite material and a preparation method thereof. The mullite whisker reinforced mullite composite material disclosed by the invention is prepared by sintering raw materials including mullite, clay and alpha-Al2O3 micro powder as well as additional mullite whiskers. The mullite whiskers are added into the mullite refractory material, so that the performance of the obtained mullite composite material is further improved. The volume density of the mullite composite material is increased, the apparent porosity is reduced, the normal-temperature compression strength is increased, the thermal expansion coefficient is reduced, the high-temperature breaking strength is increased, and the high-temperature creep rate is reduced.
本发明的目的是为了进一步提高莫来石耐火材料性能,提供了一种莫来石晶须强化的莫来石复合材料及其制备方法。本发明的莫来石晶须强化的莫来石复合材料,由原料莫来石、粘土和α‑Al2O3微粉,以及外加的莫来石晶须经烧结而成。本发明的材料是将莫来石晶须添加到莫来石耐火材料中,得到的莫来石复合材料的性能进一步提高。莫来石复合材料体积密度增大、显气孔率降低、常温耐压强度增大、热膨胀系数减小、高温抗折强度增大,高温蠕变率降低。
