The automatic skirt edge lifting system is provided with a lifting mechanism, a skirt edge, a skirt edge storage chamber and an automatic opening and closing gate used for closing or opening the skirt edge storage chamber, the skirt edge is connected with the output end of the lifting mechanism, and under the action of the lifting mechanism, the skirt edge extends out of the skirt edge storage chamber or retracts into the skirt edge storage chamber from the outside. The skirt storage chamber is positioned at the circumferential upper part of the pile shoe; and the control mechanism is provided with a controller, a lifting control switch and a gate switch. The problem that the penetration resistance and the drawing suction force of a skirt pile shoe foundation are increased due to the skirt cavity structure of the skirt pile shoe foundation can be solved, and a drilling platform can be applied and propelled to a deeper water area.
