A construction channel side wall supporting device comprises a base used for being laid on the bottom wall of a channel, a supporting plate used for abutting against the side wall of the channel, and a base plate used for being arranged at an opening of the channel. A supporting block is arranged on the base, and a jacking rod is arranged on the supporting block and used for jacking the supporting plate; a transverse guide rod is arranged on the supporting block, and the end, facing the side wall of the channel, of the transverse guide rod penetrates through the supporting plate and then is inserted into the side wall of the channel. The transverse guide rod is in sliding fit with the supporting plate; the transverse guide rod is sleeved with a sliding block in a sliding mode. A vertical guide rod is arranged on the base, and the upper portion of the vertical guide rod is sleeved with the base plate in a sliding mode. A driving structure is arranged between the base plate and the sliding block, and when the base plate slides downwards, the driving structure pushes the sliding block to abut against the supporting plate. According to the device, a channel for constructors can be formed, the side wall of the channel can be further tamped through the acting force acting on the base plate when the constructors pass through, and the stabilizing effect of the side wall of the channel is improved.
